According to Matt Mullenweg, a new plugin-first development process, has expedited the two most recent WordPress upgrades.
The new features boasted by Version 3.8:
Modernized, uncluttered design that “embraces clarity and simplicity” The combination of the Open Sans typeface and refined contrast.seek to improve readability and navigation. New vector-based icons make pages sharper and supposedly significantly faster-loading.
WordPress has replaced its shades of gray with eight new admin color schemes that can be changed from your Profile page
Adaptability for Every Device
WordPress realizes that we all access the internet in different ways. Smartphone, tablet, notebook, desktop — no matter what you use, Version 3.8 seeks to adapt.
Refined theme management
Survey all your themes at a glance and use your keyboard’s navigation arrows to flip through every theme you’ve got.
Smoother widget management
Version 3.8 aims to streamline the widgets screen. Multiple widget areas stack side-by-side to use the available space. Tablet users may add a widget by simply tapping it.
